A country garden in Edale - Hope Valley
The brief was to create a space in a large field for a place to play the occasional game of croquet and to sit and relax and to absorb the beautiful views over Edale moor through the woodland. We wanted to entwine the woodland and the river into the space. A jasmine archway was placed at the top of the banking that led down to the river, it is like entering a secret garden.
Family garden in Great Longstone
The clients wanted a redesign of their tired and dated family garden. They wanted it to flow more easily and to see a soothing patchwork of pale hues and subtle movement while sitting out on a summer’s evening in a quiet corner.
