So how does the design process work?

1. Email me or call me first

To discuss your project. I only take on a handful of projects a year so I will talk to you about your project and make sure that we are a good fit for each other before we proceed. If not, I will try and recommend someone else who would suit your style and situation..

3. Concept design

After a full site survey done on site by myself, I will present you with a few concept designs, usually hand drawn that you can choose from and I will talk you through each one. We can discuss any changes or additions.

2. Consultation

I will visit you for a consultation at your home. We will discuss your ideas and possible budget and we’ll get to know each other.

4. Master design & planting plan

During this stage, I will present the master garden design plan to you and we will discuss it together in depth and cover any additional requirements or permits needed before transitioning your project to life. Extra construction detailed work may be needed to ensure the contractors can interpret the plan correctly. I will then pass on a detailed plan to either my family contractors who will then supply you with an estimate of the overall build cost, or, I can tender out the design to other contractors. During the build stage I will oversee the project regularly and be there for you if you have further ideas/questions/advice. Depending on the scope of the project, the planting plan may be drawn during the build stage.
